Our client is an ASX listed company within the hospitality and tourism industry.
They provide accommodation services through Hotels, Motels and Short-Term rent Rolls, and are one of the largest short-term accommodation managers in New South Wales and Australia.
About the role
An exciting opportunity exists within this rapidly growing company for an experienced part-time Payroll Officer.
Playing a critical role and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for providing timely operational payroll services, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on-time and in-line with various awards, as well as processing statutory requirements.
Your duties may include:
- Preparation and payment of statutory compliances including superannuation, PAYG and payroll tax
- Onboarding and offboarding employees
- End of Month reporting
- Answer and resolve general payroll enquiries
- Maintain employee records
- Maintain asset register
About you
You will be an experienced payroll officer with 5+ years' experience processing end-to-end payroll with interpretation of various awards
You will also have:
- High attention to detail
- Experience calculating and paying statutory compliance including payroll tax
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with Employment Hero (desirable)
- Hospitality/Real Estate & Cleaning Services Awards experience preferred
