We are a horticultural company that grows, packs and distributes potatoes and onions, with our main offices, production packing and dispatch facilities located in Virginia and Hillston, NSW.


The Position


Reporting to the Senior Payroll Officer within a busy and professional HR Team the Payroll Officer is responsible for assisting with the weekly payroll process.

You will be part of an energetic team that processes a weekly payroll of 850+ staff and all related payroll functions.

You will enjoy working with payroll and HRIS systems and be part of a HR team that partners with all sectors of the business to provide exceptional HR/Payroll support.


Your duties will include:


  • Assist with the processing of the weekly payroll
  • Data entry and following up on exceptions
  • Payroll audits and compliance checks
  • Processing and costing labour hire invoices
  • HR Metrics, wage and costing reporting

About You
-
Preferred payroll experience, however, this position offers the opportunity for someone with sound administration and numerical skills looking to gain payroll experience:

  • Quick learner and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Chris21 and Kronos experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
