Description

The Communications Specialist - Research, Agents & International and Vocational Education (RAIVE) will report to the Senior Brand & Marketing Manager and play a crucial role in partnering with the business to deliver content and communications activities for various audience segments.

Collaborating closely with Marketing colleagues and Swinburne's service areas, the Communications Specialist will ensure that all activities are executed with consistency, quality, and strategic alignment.

Responsibilities include planning, developing, and implementing communication plans and content activities across all channels for defined audience segments, such as research, international recruitment, global engagement, vocational education, and other key stakeholders under the RAIVE squad.


The role also involves liaising with Marketing colleagues, utilizing Swinburne's tools and systems, and managing competing priorities to provide insights that inform student acquisition, engagement, and retention objectives, as well as key brand and reputation measures.


In this position, the Communications Specialist will work in a hybrid of two roles - responsible for the building of communication plans for any given project and also the creation of additional content for the team when required.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience with segmentation and the use of dynamic content to personalise experiences for audience segments
  • Demonstrated experience in using data to improve the process and performance of communications and marketing activities

Qualifications

  • A degree in marketing/communications or related fields with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
