Our client, an established and growing food and beverage retail family-owned business is currently sourcing for an
Accounts Payable Officer to join their team based in
inner Eastern suburbs of Adelaide.

You will play an integral part in the day-to-day accounts' duties. You will be responsible for accounts payable and other varied administrative and accounts tasks.


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting team with endtoend accounts payable processing
  • Entering all invoices from purchase orders
  • Creating or setting up new creditor accounts
  • Reconciling the supplier statements with invoices
  • Attending to enquiries from our suppliers
  • Entering monthly Credit Card statements
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Invoicing, receipting and allocating payments
  • Banking & cash handling
  • Assisting with data entry to process payroll

About you:


  • Accurate and timely data entry
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts payable
  • Have a passion to learn and develop in the role
  • Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
  • Previous experience in the retail industry would be advantageous
  • Confidently to initiate process improvements where appropriate
