This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that their distribution operations are equipped to effectively address the increasing demand.
The position calls for a versatile individual who possesses a comprehensive skill set and is prepared to immerse themselves in a diverse array of responsibilities.
Your main responsibility will involve collaborating with the Warehouse Manager to oversee all elements of the warehouse and distribution processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the management of the warehousing and distribution procedures.
- Take on the task of overseeing the effective process of selecting and packaging inventory, guaranteeing that the team accurately picks, packs, and dispatches orders on a daily basis, adhering to set timelines.
- Supervise the receipt of incoming goods to ensure they match orders, remain undamaged, and are properly documented and stored.
- Ensure that an assessment of stock quality is carried out through regular audits.
- Engage in efforts to enhance and optimize standard operating procedures, ultimately enhancing overall operational efficiencies.
- Contribute to the planning and coordination of resources.
- Handle tasks such as daily stock replenishment, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), and maintaining control over pending orders.
- Uphold compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations.
To be considered for this role:
- Prior involvement in a comparable warehouse position.
- Exemplary leadership and organizational abilities, coupled with a keen focus on intricate details.
- Proficiency in computer usage and software operation at an advanced level.
- Substantial familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Capability to aid in the supervision of teams to achieve notable performance results.
- Dependability, punctuality, and a diligent, optimistic demeanor.
- Mandatory possession of a forklift license.
