Position Description
- ***You will be responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction, building customer relationships, and selling the company's products and services in the assigned territory to meet or exceed sales targets by using the company tools and processes.
-
You will manage and be fully accountable for a territory and a product portfolio ensuring you produce results for QIAGEN through positioning the right solution for your customers.
-
You will initiate, develop and drive new business opportunities by visiting your existing and potential customer base regularly throughout your territory.
-
Your interactions with your customers will be via face-to-face appointments, virtually or hosting events in our fantastic new QIALab facility at our Melbourne Headquarters.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies across your accounts and territory, that align with the QIAGEN Corporate Goals and the macro and micro trends for your region. You must have a strong ability to plan and forecast accurately.

You will be responsible for always ensuring your customers' and QIAGEN's compliance to all contracts and price agreements.

You will diligently maintain a CRM database through the accurate and disciplined logging of activities, events, prospects and opportunities, accounts, and contacts

You will have full territory budget responsibility

Position requirements-
Minimum 2-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
-
Ideally 2-5 years of experience with proven sales record and achievement.
-
Commercial experience in the molecular diagnostics space.
-
Proven aptitude for laboratory techniques would be advantageous.


Personal requirements
- ***You will be willing to travel daily and can expect considerable travel to be outside the Melbourne Metro area and to Tasmania in order to provide full coverage for your Territory

You will be fully vaccinated
