About Us


Law Health Justice, in the University of Technology Sydney Faculty of Law, is recruiting for a
Research Fellow to support a cross-Faculty research project, Designing the future of ageing: _an evidence based 3D model of integrated aged care_.

This project is led by the UTS Ageing Research Collaborative.


The
aim of the project is to build an interactive, three-dimensional model (the '
model') that identifies common ageing journeys for older Australians, including transitions across different accommodation and care settings (eg, retirement living, home care, residential aged care).

This model will be a tool to help the Australian aged care sector and governments tackle the challenges of integrated aged care and help older Australians and carers make decisions about ageing journey options.


Detailed Description

About You:


  • Doctoral qualifications in Law (PhD) or in a related field
  • Previous experience in research, ideally with a track record of publications
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently, as well as to work in a team
  • Skills in legal research methods with experience in aged care and/or health sectors highly desirable
  • Project management skills
  • Superior oral and written communication skills including skills in academic writing
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems
  • Digital literacy in online platforms
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to ageing and aged care in Australia

Remuneration

Base Salary Range:
$112,310 to $132,925 pa (Level B) - Research Fellow

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension)
in addition to the base salary.

This position is
full-time and appointment will be made on a
fixed term basis for 2 years.
