Synaco has partnered with a nation wide industry leading waste management company.

Due to continued success they are seeking a Plant Operator to assist in their transfer station located in Erskine Park.

Job Brief/Overview


Tenure: 3 months with view to permanent


Days & Hours: 6:00 - 14:00


Pay rate:
$40.93p/h


Duties:

Prestart plant and equipment checks

Operate heavy industrial moving equipment in accordance with company procedures

Clean and maintain designated work areas.

Assist customers by directing them to the relevant areas to dispose of waste

Prepare plant and machinery work areas and assist operators as required

Assist in other areas of site as required

Traffic control as required

Good work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work

Earth moving equipment experience

Mechanical Aptitude

Ability to complete repetitive, mundane tasks

Commitment to safety

Self-motivated

Sound communication skills


Desirable Experience:

Forklift Licence

Traffic controllers ticket

Current driver's licence (Class 1 (NZ); Class C (AUS)
