About the Role


Reporting directly to the Vice President Human Resources, as the Principal Global Reward, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing Contract Mining reward strategies to ensure the organisation attracts, retains, and motivates top talent.

This role works closely with regional HR leads, senior management, and other stakeholders to align reward programs with business objectives and industry practices.

Key Accountabilities:


  • Develop and implement Contract Mining incentive plans.
  • Ensure governance of any Contract Mining incentive, retention, bonus, allowance schemes or plans.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish goals and strategies.
  • Analyse and advise stakeholders on internal and external markets, rewards and benefits trends.
  • Lead the annual cycle of remuneration activities across Contract Mining
  • Management of global benefits programs including managing relationships with global providers, implementing programs, and managing the program's ongoing success
  • Collaborate with HR teams and provide guidance and support.
  • Support organisational change initiatives such as operating model reviews.
  • Innovatively create solutions to improve the governance and efficiency of remuneration activities and the reduction of associated risks.
  • Conduct governance of HR and Talent Acquisition Divisional Standards.
  • Coordination of the development of the People Strategy (as aligned to the Contract Mining and Perenti Strategy).

Required Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic insights.
  • Experience in Reward and benefits, with practical knowledge of compensation theories, job evaluation methodologies, and remuneration design is desirable.
  • Selfmotivated and proactive in approach to the role, using transactional activities to influence future work.
  • Must have a strong aptitude for exploring problems and underlying challenges, with a proven ability to implement fitforbusiness solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities, large workloads, and tight deadlines.
  • Experience in the resources sector (mining, energy) is desirable.
