Application Security Analayst - Sydney Central Business District, Australia - Morgan McKinley
Description
An innovative and forward looking financial institution requires an Application Security Analyst to play a key role in major security focused change programmes running over the next year and to become an integral part of their growing security team moving forward.
The Role:
- Play a key role in needs gathering to determine vulnerability scanning tool selection
- Remediate Web Application Firewalls in preparation for change projects
- Contribute security expertise to migration and Data Engineering projects
- Liase with the development team and external vendors
- Act as an escalation point for security incidents and threat detection
- Liaise with a third party SOC
The Person:
- Essential: Experience of security project work with complex GCP and AWS environments
- Experience with Kubernetes and implementing security principles into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience of running the tool selection process for vulnerability scanning
- Highly capable engaging with vendors and key stakeholders
- Excellent Technical abilities within both cloud and onprem Infrastructure security constructs
- Solid technical solution abilities to create design patterns
