We are looking for a driven, collaborative and hands on
Site Supervisor with experience in commercial cleaning.

This is a full time and ongoing role working Monday to Friday, reporting to the Client Service Manager, and leading a team of housekeepers and cleaners.

As Site Supervisor, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage the onsite team, including the recruitment and deployment of new team members.
  • Complete schedules / rosters to ensure delivery of core cleaning requirements.
  • Ensure all people processes are followed and adhered to throughout the team, including the provision of constructive feedback to team members on a regular basis.
  • Complete, approve and submit team member timesheets on a fortnightly basis or as required by the business.
  • Complete site inductions for new employees, organise and participate in Cirka quarterly toolbox meetings and complete cleaning work method training as required.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and clients in relation to the agreed cleaning, servicing and functioning of the site/venue.
  • Complete cleaning quality inspections and site inspection reports as required and set out in the site inspection schedule. Ensuring reports are completed and filed in appropriate folder.
  • Work according to set budgetary constraints, thereby retaining profitability.
  • Responsible for ensuring stock at site is regularly checked and orders for consumables, chemicals, materials etc. are ordered on time.
  • Ensure any Cirka equipment and machinery are well maintained and regularly checked, making certain any repairs or replacements are prioritised. Including the completion and documentation of prestart machinery and equipment checks.
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed within the business and that equipment is maintained in a safe operating condition. Including ensuring test and tag register in up to date, cleaners rooms are checked and maintained.
  • Responsible for ensuring all accidents and incidents within area if responsibility are reported, investigated and actions (including training) is completed and closed out within agreed timescales.
  • Identify issues and provide solutions, ensuring actions are completed in accordance with agreed timelines.
To be considered for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate:

  • Demonstrable experience in cleaning service operations, contract and team management.
  • Strong supervisory and customer service skills, with experience of working with and resolving issues for employees and clients at all levels within the business.
  • A team player, with ability to adapt and change in a growing business environment, and support others to achieve individual and business targets.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills along with good computer skills in Microsoft Office suite and experience working with online document management and auditing systems.
  • Understanding and knowledge of safe working processes and practices.

NOTE:
All Applicants must have the right to work on a full-time ongoing basis (38 hours per week).
