  • The opportunityWe have a great opportunity for a
    Resource Coordinator to join our Aged Community Care Resource team on a
    Fixed term fulltime basis. This role can be based at any of our service delivery centres either Osborne Park, Maddington, or Peel (
    the choice is yours) and will also include a small element of working from home.
  • Key ResponsibilitiesWhilst reporting directly to the Resource Coordinator Team Leader, you will liaise daily with Home Helps, Care Aides and Care Team Leaders as well as Home Care Package Nurses to schedule and roster direct care services to clients ensuring quality services are provided within the required timeframes.

Key responsibilities

  • Schedule and roster direct care providers and balance rosters to ensure quality service provision to clients.
  • Analyse provider availability and rounds allocated to ensure most efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor, manage and action notifications received from providers.
  • Maintain the integrity of data within management systems to ensure accurate rostering and to achieve contractual and accreditation compliance.
  • Process planned and unplanned leave including holiday period leave.
  • Provide administration support to the Line Manager and team as delegated.
  • Support and implement continuous improvement of business processes.
  • Contribute to reporting as required.


  • About you

  • Previous experience in a rostering/scheduling position is a highly desirable
  • Flexible to work varied roster within operating hours and willingness to travel other offices in Perth metro region
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal & listening) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to autonomously manage time and organise workload
  • An empathetic approach to dealing with the sensitivities of clients and providers scheduling issues
