About the role:

Are you a dedicated and skilled Cybersecurity Analyst looking to make an impact on the security of critical national infrastructure? Do you have a passion for safeguarding essential services and ensuring the resilience of Australia's energy sector? If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team and play a role in achieving and maintaining Powerlinks cybersecurity goals.

This exciting work will involve providing expert, high-level assurance to projects, developing security artefacts including policy and process documents as well as design and gap assessments.

Working with technical teams you will gather and assess information to assure that Powerlink is meeting its cybersecurity maturity goals and regulatory obligations.

This role will also work on a major Information Security Management Program of works and will be responsible for maintenance of Business IT controls, artefacts and coordination of activities related to the Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF).

About you:

Crucial to your success in this role will be your high level interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including the ability to liaise, negotiate and consult with senior management and a diverse range of stakeholders on strategic and operational issues.

You have cyber security industry accreditations and demonstrated experience in a cyber security assurance role. This will include demonstrable experience managing or working to cyber security maturity models (C2M2) and frameworks.

You take a proactive approach to shaping and influencing change by fostering strong relationships, creating connections with colleagues, stakeholders, and managers, whilst coaching your team members to do the same.
