ROLE OVERVIEW
This Student Services / Admission Manager position is a full-time permanent role.


The Student Services / Admission Manager is responsible for providing quality and timely support which ensures all students have a positive and productive learning experience.


This role will focus on students wellbeing and retention through the provision of timely and proactive student responses, accurate and clear written and verbal communication, facilitation of student events, management of the reception area, accurate data entry and process adherence, and excellent customer service at all times.


This is an on-campus role where working outside the traditional span of hours may be required (Student Service Desk Hours 9.00 am pm).


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Act as the first point of contact for all enquiries, requests and conduct the initial consultation with students.
  • Responsible for assessing and processing the Application, Withdrawal, Deferral, Refund, Cancellation, Suspension, and all other requests. Process Status Letter, Absence Letter, Completion Letter, Certificates and Statement of Attainments within appropriate turnaround times meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Issuing Letters of Offer, CoE, student ID, and Certificates to students.
  • General RTO administration; filing, printing, scanning, laminating, archiving, maintaining electronic and hard copy student records.
  • Student Orientation and Induction.
  • Work closely with your direct report to report student(s) for noncommencement of studies through PRISMS and develop reports for AVETMISS reporting.
  • Manage and record student enrolment including personal details to RTO and PRISMS.
  • Monitoring student Attendance and Course Progress.
  • Assistance in Marketing/Promotion.
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively with other staff as part of the team.
  • Greet and welcome staff and students as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • General housekeeping including maintenance of reception area (student services area), classrooms, and boardroom.
  • Any other duties as and when delegated or directed.

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experiences within international education is essential
  • Strong Computer Skills including demonstrated experience with database entry and reporting previous experience with PRISMS and RTO Manager is essential
  • Understanding of the Australian VET system (ESOS Framework, PRISMS, and CRICOS & ELICOS) is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills;
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • Aptitude at establishing strong rapport with people from all cultures and demonstrated experience in customer service;
  • An ability to work as part of a dynamic and driven team;
  • Fluency in English is essential and fluency in other languages is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the International Education industry and foreign qualifications framework is desirable

Job Types:

Salary:
$55, $70,000.00 per year
