An amazing opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, dynamic and forward-thinking individual who enjoys working in a physiotherapy practice.This role involves managing the front desk for David Pitcher who is the sole practitioner and owner of East Melbourne Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy.
We are looking for the right person to operate our front of house services and organise the day to day running of the clinic.
A permanent part time position to cover Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 to 4pm will become available from the start of April 2024.
The successful applicant should have excellent computer skills, have an ability to work on her/his own, and above all, excellent attention to detail.
The role includes:
- Front desk, meeting and greeting all clients.
- Answering phones promptly and politely, and assisting with enquiries efficiently.
- Filing and general daytoday admin tasks.
- Patient appointments and liaison, scheduled through Better Clinics.
- Client correspondence, patient greeting and registration.
- Typing duties.
- Correspondence with Surgeons, Doctors and referrers.
- Patient billing and account collection.
- End of day banking and reconciliation.
- The ability to cover (with notice) when other receptionists are away.
Key selection criteria:
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in reception/administration/customer service.
- Advanced computer skills, Microsoft Word competent and Mac experience preferred.
