About the role
This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating Hotel Services at Ipswich Hospital.

This position supports manage the Hotel Services team by coordinating cleaning, grounds and gardens, porterage, waste, mortuary, and linen services to meet organisational goals.

This position will liaise with multi-disciplinary team to provide a timely and responsive Hotel Service.
About you

  • Demonstrated ability and experience in supervising and providing training and support to the Hotel Services team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in Hotel Services and in the use of appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Proven organisational skills with ability to utilise problem solving strategies, prioritise and allocate tasks.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal and electronic mediums.

Mandatory Requirements:


  • Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/1
  • Vaccinated against COVID19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
