About you

As our Local Medical Educator, you'll have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with extensive exposure working as a GP in a General Practice environment and have experience or an interest in medical education.


To thrive in this role, you'll have:
experience in general practice performance assessment and education/training development as well as development of educational content for programs.
demonstrated high level of initiative, conceptual and analytical thinking, and high level of attention to detail.
highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
work effectively within a team environment and ability to work independently.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Local Medical Educator, you'll work collaboratively with the GP Training Program Management team to achieve the best outcomes for registrars and supervisors ensuring the delivery of a high-quality nationally consistent GP training program


In addition, you'll:
provide workforce planning and recruitment
registrar support
registrar education
training site support
supervisor support and education
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural and health training
