The Role

As Safety Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Driving safety culture and encouraging best practice across the site.
Developing, reviewing and maintaining the Health and Safety Management system.
Conducting training and presentations for health & safety matters.
Conducting safety audits and identifying risks.
Developing initiatives to promote Health & Safety improvement strategies across the business.
Evaluating practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adhere to regulations.

Your Background
In order to be successful in this role, you will:

Have extensive experience leading safety across a large manufacturing environment.
Have a strong track record in driving a safety culture across the business, ideally having previously lead a team within the function.
Have a thorough understanding of OH&S legislation and the ability to educate and train.
