Zoom Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to work on an ongoing part-time assignment based in Para Hills.

Are you an enthusiastic individual with a passion for providing exceptional customer service? We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Officer to join our client's team with a well-known gas / gas cylinder company.

This is an opportunity to showcase your sales skills, promote new products, and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.


In this role you will be a point of contact with customers (residential and commercial), including but not limited to; establishing accounts, customer enquiries, processing orders and payments, advising customers on usage and delivery, selling and arranging installation of appliances and managing debtors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all administrative aspects of customer transactions, including but not limited to; filing, updating records, banking, correspondence, price adjustments and reconciling stock transactions.
  • Support other functions within your branch, including but not limited to; monitoring and reporting to your manager on market and competitor activity, sales leads, feedback on marketing activities.
  • Assisting other Branches in times of overflow is part of your role.
  • Other functions at the direction of the Customer Service Manager (or Branch Manager or Regional Manager) in line with skill competence and training
  • In addition, you will follow all Branch Standard Operating Procedures and comply with all responsibilities
  • Participation in relevant training as directed by Management
  • Recent administration and customer service experience (min. 2 years)
  • Be tech savvy
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and at times to work autonomously
  • Strong, motivated work ethic and proactive attitude
  • Ability to complete mandatory Drug and Alcohol testing and Functional Assessment
