The Organisation


The Product Support and Maintenance (PST&M) capability collaborates with BDA business units, programs, functions and other capabilities to identify current and future needs.

It provides direct support to develop and implement plans to improve or update tools and processes.


The Technical Publications Support Team Programmer/Analyst reports to the PST&M Support Technical Manager - Technical Publications in order to provide support the development and maintenance tools support directly to end users and stakeholders.

The Programmer/Analyst works with a team that plans, develops, and implements technical publications tools development and upgrades.

Boeing is seeking an experienced Programmer/Analyst to form part of the team within the PST&M capability.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support for the development and maintenance of the BDA technical publications capability used by various projects for the production of page oriented, interactive electronic publications and their interface with other logistics support and training tools.
  • Work with adjacent capability and functional teams to manage and facilitate BDA compliance requirements and ensure all product development tasks are consistent with BDA software development operations.

Experience/Qualifications

The successful applicant will have:

  • Proven working experience in web programming
  • Topnotch programming skills and indepth knowledge of HTML/CSS, and SVG
  • A solid understanding of SGML and/or XML
  • Familiarity with Javascript and XSLT would be beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fastpaced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
  • Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
