About the opportunity:


Based in Adelaide SA and reporting to Regional Commercial Manager Australia and New Zealand, you'll be responsible for the timely preparation and analysis of financial and operational information for the ANZ sales entities.


In this pivotal position, you will provide strategic recommendations to drive sustainable sales growth and profitability, while optimising working capital and minimising risk.


You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful planning, monitoring and execution of initiatives that drive business growth and sustainability.

You will elevate sales strategy with expert commercial insights and support in a dynamic Business Partnering role.


In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Provide commercial leadership and support to ANZ Sales teams, emphasising sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Ensure all internal reporting is completed accurately and on time.
  • Prepare commercial analysis and assist in presenting customer tenders.
  • Support sales teams in managing price increases for customers, maintaining pricing window register.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Group Supply Chain teams to enhance stock forecast accuracy, identify process improvements, and proactively manage stock aging profiles.
  • Report on sales performance, comparing actual data to projections and expectations, market performance and highlighting progress against key Group objectives.
  • Customer Contract/Supply Agreement Review.
  • Assist and comply with the requests of external auditors in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all Government and industry legislative requirements.

About you:


To be successful in the role, you'll have:

  • A degree in Business/Finance/Accounting and CA or CPA qualification.
  • Experience working with senior management in a business or commercial role.
  • Strong commercial acumen, paired with excellent negotiation and influencing skills, enabling effective partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven problemsolving and analytical skills, combined with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Resilient with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Experience using MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
While not essential, experience in the Packaging industry will be highly regarded.
