By taking on this 12-month maternity leave role you can help the Institute cure every child of cancer by utilising your first-class relationship management and acquisition skills as you deliver the full end-to-end supporter and acquisition journey including identification, prospecting and event management, resulting in sustainable growth of our philanthropic pipeline, and its revenue.


As our Relationship Manager - Philanthropy for ZERO Childhood Cancer your purpose will be to:

  • Create partnerships with philanthropists to help grow fundraising income
  • Design customer experiences that connect to provide transformational journeys and ensure our supporters find purpose and fulfilment in their support of our mission
  • Drive a continuous improvement and innovation strategy that clearly evidences effective testing to achieve measurable efficacy gains
  • Manage stakeholders to ensure activity is delivered to agreed timelines and budget
  • Liaise in a productive and collegiate manner with internal colleagues including the senior leadership team, operations, and research teams
  • Undertake other activities to support the Institute's vision and purpose

To succeed you will

  • Significant experience in the notforprofit sector generating net income through strong relationships, proposals, and effective customer relationship career.
  • Strong experience in acquisition and stewardship of new high value supporters
  • Have degree qualification in business/marketing, or relevant field with demonstrated capability in fundraising/sales, stakeholder, and financial management
  • Experience contributing to a fundraising or commercial strategy including its implementation, business planning, reporting, and preparation of presentations for senior management and board teams
  • Experience with CRM database, ideally Salesforce
