About the Role
This full time, permanent position is based at our Panorama site and will report into the Corporate Governance Manager. A focus of this role is to provide support to the Board and Board Committees. It will also work closely with the Corporate Governance Manager to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Other responsibilities include:
- Prepare agendas for Board and Committee meetings
- Coordinate, collate and distribute meeting papers, including review of content
- Facilitation of communication between the board of directors and executive management
- Project work including policy drafting and review
- Management of the contract register
- Shareholder engagement and communication
- Travel to other metropolitan sites as required
About You
You will be a high-level operator with a collaborative and consultative approach. You enjoy problem solving and contributing to continuous improvement and are comfortable liaising with Executives and Board Members. You will also have an exceptional eye for detail and understand the importance of consistency across the organisation.
Essential skills and qualities include:
- Working knowledge and demonstrated experience in corporate governance, policy review, and risk management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional time management, and project management skills
- Familiarity with online board paper platforms (Diligent, BoardEffect) is highly regarded
For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford Phoenix Incorporated.
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months)
- NDIS worker screening clearance
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
