The Industrial Lands Authority (ILA) is a Division within DevelopmentWA and fulfils the important role to remove barriers to investment and facilitate innovation, economic diversification and jobs growth in industrial areas and technology parks across Western Australia.


The role


The Executive Assistant provides high level executive and administrative support to the General Manager ILA which includes coordinating and administrating the General Manager's activities and actions.


Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Provides high level and confidential executive support to the General Manager by understanding and triaging critical priorities.
  • Coordinates and oversees Ministerial, Board and Executive processes including followingup on progress with actions, quality assurance, editing, briefing of the General Manager, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Manages the General Manager's calendar including coordinating and prioritising meeting requests and agendas, minutes and documents.
  • Drafts and/or edits correspondence, communications, presentations, spreadsheets, agendas and other documents.
  • Supports internal meetings as required; including minute preparation and distribution, follow up and quality assurance of agreed actions.
  • Oversees travel arrangements including accommodation and hire vehicles.
  • On behalf of the General Manager, liaises widely with internal and external stakeholders including State and local government agencies, industry bodies, Board and the Executive.
  • Oversees the Division's functions, field tours and events.
