About the company
Located in Carrum Downs, our company is an Australian owned distributor of high-quality Industrial Products, delivering reliable product solutions for our diverse customers.
This exciting opportunity is for a full time WAREHOUSE PERSON, to take on a key role in our growing team.
Work hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
About The Role
You will be required to undertake the below tasks:
- Process all Inwards Goods including paperwork.
- Ensure all customer orders are dispatched in a timely manner.
- Record information accurately.
- Use forklift to store stock in pallet racking.
- Use forklift to load and unload trucks.
- Maintain the retail trade sales area keeping it clean and tidy.
- Attend to customers with trade sales.
- Check orders prior to dispatch.
- Participate in inventory counts as required.
- Communicate with the customer service team.
- Complete general warehouse duties.
- Ensure a strong focus on Health and Safely is maintained, to provide a "Zero Harm Workplace".
- Other general duties as directed.
About the person:
- Have a current Forklift Licence.
- Have a current Drivers Licence.
- Be physically capable and fit, occasional heavy lifting.
- Have previous experience in a warehouse and trade sales environment.
- Be computer literate.
- Enjoy being busy in a supportive team environment.
- Be a selfstarter, with a 'yes we can' attitude.
- Be customer focused with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Have a flexible and adaptable approach to workload.
- Experience in Retail / Trade Sales is highly desirable however a willingness to learn and a great attitude is more important.
- A strong work ethic with a team player attitude.
Salary:
$ $28.61 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
