The Department
The SBS Media sales team is driven by a culture of continuous improvement.

We are looking for a State Sales Manager to deliver business outcomes and implement SBS Media's sales strategy across our Western Australia region.


The Role
Reporting into the National Sales Manager, Media Sales this role will see you doing the following:

  • Achieve annual and quarterly revenue budgets as set by divisional head.
  • Manage and develop the Perth based advertising sales team.
  • Build and maintain key relationships within the Perth advertising market.
  • Achieve quarterly KPIs agreed with direct line manager.
  • Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic understanding of SBS's Charter, Purpose and Values and a commitment to a safe, secure and diverse workplace.
  • Role model SBS' values and develop a positive, businessfocused culture

About you

  • Demonstrated capability as a highly constructive people leader who is passionate about team development and growth
  • Solid experience working as a Sales Manager (or similar) within the media industry
  • Strong established relationships with media agencies and record of consistent overachievement of sales targets
  • Strong digital media knowledge and practical experience
  • Proven experience in leading and coaching teams to deliver results with a focus on innovation, partnership and collaboration
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to positively influence outcomes
  • Experience in selling and implementing major event partnerships a plus
