Position Information
Granville Boys High School (702 students), 98% Non-English-Speaking Background, is a partially selective secondary school for boys. Our culturally diverse school nurtures inclusivity, personal responsibility, and friendship.

The school motto is 'Aiming for Excellence' and has a strong academic focus that includes a Saturday tutoring program and an Award-winning Robotics program.

Specific Selection Criteria

  • Approval to teach Music.
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide engaging and challenging differentiated lessons and programs to cater for student diversity and students with additional learning and support needs
  • Highly developed communication, and organisational skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents/carers and the community
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal, communication and organisation skills with the capacity to work as a collaborative member of the Music Faculty and contribute to whole school programs
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement technology in the classroom, including modern and innovative practices, with a focus on improving teaching and learning.
