Animal Enforcement Officer:

We are seeking a motivated person to join our team as an Animal Enforcement Officer.

Officers provide a regulatory and education service to the community to ensure a harmonious relationship between domestic animals and livestock, humans and the environment.

About you:

You are a dedicated professional with a passion for animals and a desire to make a positive impact in our community.

Desirable:

Experience in animal handling
Experience in investigations
Grade relevant qualifications in animal care discipline or demonstrated relevant experience

We offer:

Fulltime contract role (38 hours per week) to 27th December 2024, with likely extension
Flexible working arrangements
Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a Band 4 salary in the range of $58,047.60 to $67,256.80 per annum or Band 6 salary in the range of $65,832.00 to $76,276.20 per per annum (dependent upon skills and experience)

Location:

This position is based at Mullumbimby, however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
