As we embark on the next stage of our ambitious growth plan, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Systems Support Officer to join us at our Distribution Centre in Somerton, Victoria.


About the role

Reporting directly to the Operations Process & Systems Excellence Manager, your primary area of focus as Warehouse Systems Support Officer is to support the effective use of the IT systems used in our Warehouses.

In this fast-paced and wide-ranging role, your areas of responsibility will span from performing system configuration and testing, right through to providing day-to-day support and training for end-users.

- The key responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Providing a high level of support to Warehouse end-users with system queries and issues (Manhattan SCALE Warehouse Management System (WMS), Microsoft Dynamics AX and several other associated and peripheral systems)
  • Performing configuration and testing of systems (updates, upgrades, fixes, enhancements, reporting, etc.)
  • Developing and maintaining enduser documentation
  • Training Guides and SOP Documentation
  • Being able to deliver enduser training consistent with system and operational requirements
  • Regularly assessing business and systems processes to identify opportunities for achieving desired results and for continuous improvement
  • Working with key members of projects to help achieve the project goals, objectives and aims
  • Providing first line support for Projects Go Live and post Go Live as required by the business (travel to remote sites, as required)
  • The successful applicant must also return a satisfactory National Criminal History check outcome._

About you A natural ability to troubleshoot system issues

  • Previous management and deployment experience in significant business systems projects e.g. establishment of new warehouse sites and deploying large WMS System configurations including the integration of 3rd party systems such as Smartconveyor, Goodstoperson or any other types of warehouse systems/automation
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite of products and exposure to Microsoft SQL and/or SSRS reports
  • Previous exposure to RF, Voice Picking and Warehouse Automation Technologies would be an advantage
  • In addition, the successful applicant will also demonstrate the following:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills
  • Highly organised with an ability to prioritise tasks and to multitask
  • Enthusiasm and motivation, with a passion for taking on challenges
  • Ability to work within a team in an effective and efficient manner
  • Enjoys collaborating and working on multiple projects
  • The successful applicant will also be required to return a satisfactory National Criminal History Check outcome._
