The Role

  • As Retail Operations Manager for Country road and Trenery, you are responsible for financial and operational procedure management within the Retail Operations Division. Based out of our Burnley support office, this is a fantastic role supporting our store network._
  • The position specifically focuses on the operational aspects of retail store policies and procedures, retail processes, integrated business initiatives, financial reporting and administration support across both Country Road and Trenery, to enhance business processes and improve efficiencies in store, allowing our teams to focus on their customers._
Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Reporting, own the Country Road and Trenery reporting suite, seeking feedback and working crossfunctionally where required to enhance content and improve efficiencies.
  • Manage, collate and interpret data, sharing key insights with internal stakeholders to aid in data led decision making.
  • Partner across functions to advocate for our stores in looking for new and improved ways to use and enhance our existing systems.
  • Expense management, ensure all retail expenses are delivered to agreed budget and develop forecasting controls in conjunction with finance to deliver agreed expense spend.
  • Annual budgeting and forecast management, coordinate the creation of retail annual sales budgets, review sales forecast monthly to ensure projections are realistic and achievable.
  • Policies and procedures, work with the Retail Operations Leadership team to deliver continuous improvement across store process, standards and team experience.
  • A background within retail operations having a solid, commercial understanding of the drivers across the brand and business
  • Highly commercial and numerical with the ability to communicate numbers and findings in a clear and concise way to relevant stakeholders
  • Previous experience in a finance or data analytical role
  • A continuous improvement and strategic mindset, results focused
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office Suite experience
