Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all claims
Facilitate claims process, from initial notification to final settlement
Delivering a first class claims facilitation service across all classes of business insurance, particularly professional indemnity, management liability and public liability
Reviewing proposed indemnity denials to ensure they are well founded and able to be defended.
Liaising with assessors, insureds, insurers and claims managers while providing timely claims updates to customers, intermediaries and claims stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance with best practice, service and communications through system processing.
Progressing claims from inception to settlement efficiently and fairly in accordance with the General insurance Code of Practice as well as our SLA's and processes.

Requirements:

Proven experience in handling customer enquiries in an insurance environment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
