The Opportunity:


The purpose of the payroll officer position is to undertake the day-to-day processes and tasks and to ensure accuracy and the maintenance of the payroll system.

In this role you will assist the senior payroll officer running the end-to-end process including tasks such as:


  • Ensures the payroll system (SAP) is accurate and maintained
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees.
  • Maintaining employee personnel and leave records.
  • Ensures approach is customer service orientated i.e. friendly manner and resolution focused
The payroll team is a team of six and including this position. This role is a high volume role, SAP experience is desirable.
This role offers a competitive salary of $75,000 - $85,000 plus an annual 5% bonus depending on experience.

Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Previous experience using SAP payroll system (preferred)
  • Ability to manage high volume workload
  • Exceptional communication skills written and oral.
  • Has a customer service approach and attitude.
  • Maintains a high degree of accuracy and a detailed focus
  • Ability to work to strict timeframes and deadlines.
  • High level problem solving and analytical ability to resolve payroll and system issues.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
