The Opportunity:

The purpose of the payroll officer position is to undertake the day-to-day processes and tasks and to ensure accuracy and the maintenance of the payroll system.

In this role you will assist the senior payroll officer running the end-to-end process including tasks such as:

Ensures the payroll system (SAP) is accurate and maintained
Respond to payroll queries from employees.
Maintaining employee personnel and leave records.
Ensures approach is customer service orientated i.e. friendly manner and resolution focused

The payroll team is a team of six and including this position. This role is a high volume role, SAP experience is desirable.
This role offers a competitive salary of $75,000 - $85,000 plus an annual 5% bonus depending on experience.

Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Previous experience using SAP payroll system (preferred)
Ability to manage high volume workload
Exceptional communication skills written and oral.
Has a customer service approach and attitude.
Maintains a high degree of accuracy and a detailed focus
Ability to work to strict timeframes and deadlines.
High level problem solving and analytical ability to resolve payroll and system issues.
Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
