These roles are in Regional Strategy Division - a multi-disciplinary team that contributes to the development and implementation of wide range of reforms through infrastructure strategy, planning, and coordination of projects.

This drives innovation and better integration of land-use, economic and infrastructure planning, and alignment across government to catalyse economic and community resilience, social infrastructure policy, planning and delivery and guide quality investment decisions.


Your Contribution:


  • Work collaboratively with a diverse range of professional and administrative staff in the Infrastructure and Regional Strategy group to provide project support in relation to state and regional infrastructure strategy and infrastructure initiatives and reform.
  • Research, review and analysis in relation to infrastructure strategies, plans and projects and related implementation activities, including contributing to the development and release of the new State Infrastructure Strategy and Regional Infrastructure Plans.
  • Support engagement and consultation activities by building a positive rapport and effective networks with internal and external stakeholders including government, industry, community and regional professionals.
  • Prepare sensitive, well researched and often confidential materials for advice, correspondence, briefing notes and assist with cabinet documentation processes relevant to infrastructure strategies and plans.
  • Actively contribute to and support change in processes, procedures and systems to ensure project outcomes are achieved and support the strategic direction of the division.
  • Represent the department at meetings, conferences and events in an effective and professional manner.
  • Support the economic recovery function in the event of a disaster,
  • Perform other tasks as required by the Director and team members.
