About the Role
The role of Asset Manager is responsible for the reliable, safe operation, maintenance and compliance of infrastructure, fleet and facilities throughout Barwon Health.
This includes the development and full life cycle management of infrastructure assets, inclusive of buildings, plant, equipment, appliances, roads, pathways and drainage, grounds and vehicles.
The role is also responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of a Barwon Health Asset Management Plan and associated Asset Register.
It is responsible for the coordination and implementation of tender documentation and management relating to Building Services maintenance and asset functions, along with accurate development and maintenance of condition reports on Barwon Health assets including ongoing maintenance and replacement costs.

Trade or Tertiary qualification in Asset Management, Risk Management, Engineering or relevant related qualification allowing effective discharge of all requirements of the position

Extensive experience in facilities related areas of building services industries to allow fulfilment of the requirements of the role

Current knowledge of engineering and building technology
Essential:
Current knowledge of Employment and Industrial Agreements and Occupational Health and Safety legislation

Experience in asset management, maintenance and infrastructure replacement
Essential:
Previous experience managing teams consisting of multiple staff and multiple trade disciplines and speciality skills
Essential:
Experience in working with tradespersons, engineers, architects, project managers and quantity surveyors and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels
Desirable:
Experience working in a similar role in the health sector
