    Amentum presents an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Asset Data Quality Technician to join their team in Alice Springs, NT - Australia.

    It is a prerequisite for candidates to be Australian or US citizens to obtain and maintain the required level of security and medical clearances specific to each role.

    THE ROLE

    PURPOSE AND SCOPE

    The Asset Data Quality Technician coordinates, facilitates, and administers actions needed to ensure consistent and effective management of asset information through all stages of the asset life cycle. This role is instrumental in fostering an integrated and comprehensive asset management culture across the site.

    The Asset Data Quality Technician collaborates closely with the Asset Management Analyst and Business Process Specialist to provide precise information on asset life cycle conditions, maintenance, and regulatory requirements essential for optimizing asset operational resilience, reliability, efficiency, and capability.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsibilities/Duties

    • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of assets recorded in the CMMS.
    • Develop and distribute reports and metrics conveying information on asset conditions, downtime, costs, recapitalization projects, and the enhancement, implementation, and continual maintenance of the systems, processes, and projects constituting the asset management system.
    • Assess and oversee procedural adherence and operational risks through the evaluation of identified departmental process issues or gaps.
    • Identify, devise, implement, coordinate, and monitor processes to maintain the integrity of asset information across various platforms.
    • Coordinate, facilitate, and administer actions required to ensure consistent and reliable support for field inspection data management activities.
    • Engage with asset data providers regarding queries and data corrections, provide barcode and space labels to projects, review and validate asset data sets.
    • Assist in developing data governance frameworks, create and implement quality assurance (QA) rules and notification procedures, monitor and report QA performance following Site standards.
    • Provide support to Capital Projects by offering guidance on Asset information capture requirements.
    • Ensure, advocate for, and uphold health and safety practices/compliance on-site and in the workplace.
    • Any other reasonable duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Essential

    Desirable

    • Bachelor's degree, Certificate IV, or demonstrated equivalent experience.

    Field: Asset Management, Business Administration, or related field.

    • Master's degree, Graduate Certificate.

    TICKETS AND LICENSES

    Minimum Essential

    • Driver's License.

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS – Minimum Essential

    • Minimum 4+ years' experience in progressively responsible asset management roles within Government Services or related sectors.
    • Experience with SAP.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to brief individuals at all levels, including Senior Leadership.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team.
    • Capacity to adapt to changes and contribute to continuous improvement.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to cooperate with others to achieve business goals.
    • Demonstrated customer focus.
    • Understanding and dedication to workplace diversity, equity, and EH&S principles.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS

    • Ability to independently lift items up to 10kgs.
    • Prolonged sitting when using the computer, continual use of sight for reviewing documents, consistent use of speech/hearing for communication, constant mental alertness.
    • Frequent requirement to walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear. Occasional standing may be necessary.
    • Advanced planning/organizational skills required, with the ability to work effectively under deadlines.

    STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum age of 18 years.
    • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
    • Australian or US citizenship.

    • Completing tasks in a safe manner.
    • Reporting any unsafe conditions to their supervisor or PMO/EHS Manager.
    • Consistently following environmental, health, and safety procedures outlined in the Handbook during work.
    • Empowered to halt work if a job is unsafe or poses environmental risks.
