The organisation:


You will be working with a key federal government agency that is responsible for driving specific economic goals and helping to achieve progress in overall development for all Australians.

This department is seeking to onboard an

APS5 Finance Officer on a

12-month non-ongoing basis with a

possibility for extension.
WFH/Hybrid working arrangements

are on offer with this position.


Your day-to-day:

You will be primarily working with the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams with both an internal and external focus


Your duties will include:

  • Processing invoices
  • Issuing payments
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Billing clients and collecting payments
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Ensuring timely and accurate cash flow
  • Internal stakeholder engagement.

Ideally, you will have:


  • Australian Citizenship (required for all APS roles)
  • Baseline security clearance
  • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Previous Federal Government experience and understanding of the PGPA act
  • Experience using TechOne software is advantageous
