Responsibilities:


  • Perform fabrication, repair, and maintenance of metal structures and equipment onsite.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Utilize various tools and welding equipment to assemble and weld components.
  • Conduct inspections and identify metalwork issues, implementing appropriate repairs.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to ensure efficient operations.
  • Follow safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Keep detailed records of work performed and provide necessary reports.

Requirements:


  • Possess a recognized trade qualification as a Boilermaker.
  • Proven experience as a Boilermaker in industrial or mining environments.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Excellent fabrication and welding skills, with knowledge of various welding techniques.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot metalwork issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a diverse team environment.
  • Physical fitness to carry out duties in a remote, physically demanding environment.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License.
