Your opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Procurement and Contracts Management leader to join our Customer Experience (CX) Operations team.

As the
Head of Procurement and Contract Management , you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement and contract management of all key CX contractors and suppliers.

This role is critical to ensuring centre teams can deliver operational excellence aligned with customer and business priorities.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our internal Facilities Management and Operations teams while ensuring compliance with executed contracts to deliver the best outcomes for the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage National Procurement and Contracts teams
  • Develop, prioritise and execute the CX procurement plan in line with business priorities, advising on key risks and opportunities and delivering over $200M p.a. of contracted services supporting all Scentre Group assets
  • Own and drive the development, implementation and governance of contract management processes in line with Scentre Group standard policies to obtain the optimum risk and commercial outcomes for Scentre Group
  • Ensure all contracts approved as per the Authority Matrix and Delegated Financial Authority, working within commercial requirements and providing input into longterm financial plans
  • Review contract performance and delivery tools/frameworks (enhancing and managing the Tender Letting Schedule, KPI reporting, Asset systems etc.)
  • Conduct supplier audits covering financial, subcontractor, and wages where required
  • Directly manage contractual escalations and disputes, including items such as contract breaches, terminations, renewals, extensions, and change in entities/ownership, etc.
  • Implement innovative solutions to improve key contract service delivery and identify risk/commercial opportunities in line with Responsible Business objectives

What will set you apart from the rest?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement and contracts management in property/operations
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing contract management and procurement strategies
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage highperforming teams and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Knowledge of legal and risk management
  • Ability to analyse and report on data to inform procurement priorities
