Join a great family owned business at _Tarella House Early Learning Centre, Cammeray, part of Babies by the Bay_.

We are seeking a full time Assistant Director who can assist the Director with managing the team and ensuring smooth running of the centre.

Tarella House Early Learning Centre is a homely 16 place centre with two rooms. Small group numbers ensure quality care and education.

This would be a perfect opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step and gain experience as Assistant Director.

Also, with 5 other centres in Sydney there is plenty of room to grow within the company.

Responsibilities:

Have a genuine interest in promoting children's learning and wellbeing
Work to create positive and stimulating environments to support children
Observe and evaluate children's development and learning
Create and implement programming and planning for children
Liaise with children, families and educators in a positive and friendly manner
Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

What we need from you:

Diploma in Early Childhood, Certificate III in Early Childhood or working towards.
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
Individuals will need to be passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to highquality Early Childhood Education.
A current Working with Children's Check (WWC).
Able to work well in a team environment.
Creativity to bring new ideas to the table, and to develop exciting projects for the children to explore.
Ability to take on leadership roles as required.
