We have an opportunity for a Sales Manager to join the team at Stockland Halcyon. With Stockland Halcyon's ongoing success comes growth and as such, we require a full-time, permanent Sales Manager. This role will initially work across our Halcyon projects located in Victoria and Western Australia.


About the role


The Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for meeting sales targets by building relationships with team members, potential home buyers and working through the sales track.


The role reports to the National Sales Manager but works closely with the Regional Project Director and project teams during the development stage of multiple communities with respect to sales and first homeowners.


The role had three main components, those being:

  • Project Leadership and Strategic Planning
  • People Management
  • Sales Management

Key responsibilities will include:


  • Provide effective leadership and coaching of the sales team to ensure a cohesive, positive work culture is maintained, resulting in the achievement of project objectives
  • Control and understand of the entire project both proactively and reactively by carrying out appropriate market research
  • Be responsible for overall sales budget
  • Work closely with the Regional Project Director to plan, develop and deliver profitable projects
  • Ensure operations are carried out within the relevant legal requirements and processes
  • Promote a welcoming environment for visitors to the sales centre, greeting visitors, providing an overview of Halcyon and the community
  • Manage and actively participate in Halcyon Open Days and buyer functions
  • Represent Halcyon at industry and community events where you may be expected to present
  • Work as an ambassador for Halcyon
  • Maintain knowledge of industry competitors, products, pricing structures and potential impacts to our success
  • Generate quality sales leads through marketing initiatives, networking, database management and relationship building
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales targets, pricing, sales strategies and timelines
  • Manage where necessary, the endtoend sales process and expedite settlements for home buyers
  • Ensure all data integrity relating to contractual obligations are maintained
  • Provide accurate reports to the National Sales Manager and Regional Project Director which highlight any budget and/or programme discrepancies coupled with recommendations for improvement
  • Travel will be required between states

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Property Management, Business, Marketing or equivalent are highly desirable (however, not mandatory)
  • Possess a high level of financial and commercial business acumen
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements, processes, statutory and regulatory frameworks relating to all aspects of manufactured/residential homes will be highly regarded
  • Prior experience in leading successful teams

  • Strong customer relations skills with the ability to find common solutions to disputes coupled with skills in mediating disputes between parties

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to make accurate decisions within a busy environment
