We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Manufacturing and Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly and expanding team in Keysborough VIC.


The Role:

Reports to the Warehouse Manager the key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • As a part of the team assemble & manufacture of Safety Products (Ezy Rail, Stair Nosing, Height Bars) and use the products efficiently to minimize waste
  • Able to take work instructions from the managers on day todays work flow.
  • Use various pneumatic and power tools.
  • Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
  • Adhere to everyday housekeeping tasks, such as keeping the work space and facility clean and tidy.
  • Report on issues and consistently work to improve processes.
  • Packing and shipping orders to customers
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe workspace and always adhere to the Company OH&S requirements.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

  • Current forklift license (mandatory).
  • Hand Tool Skills.

  • Ability to cope with the physical demands of the job.
  • Great reliability and time management.
  • Technical / trade skills and certifications advantageous but not essential
  • Basic to medium Computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and experience working with safety products and advantage but not necessary.
  • A strong OH&S mindset.
  • Drive, determination and physically fit.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Organized, efficient, good at multitasking, and driven to succeed.

Salary:
$ $34.07 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

  • 8 hour shift

  • Warehouse: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Forklift Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (required)

Ability to Commute:

  • KEYSBOROUGH, VIC 3173 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • KEYSBOROUGH, VIC 3173: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
