Salary range:
$85,906 to $93,915 per annum + 12.5% superannuation.

About the role:


The role will support the delivery high quality community engagement and help embed a culture of engagement across the Council.


Role accountabilities include:

  • Participate in project teams, advising on planning, implementing, and evaluating community engagement and stakeholder management.
  • Work with staff to embed best practices in community engagement.
  • Plan and deliver inclusive engagement methods.
  • Develop community engagement plans, stakeholder communications, and evaluation reports.
  • Analyse data from engagement activities and produce reports for the Council.
  • Develop and maintain content for the City's online engagement platform _Your Say Hobart._
  • Support the Senior Advisor Community Engagement in various tasks.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or significant demonstrated experience in line with the position requirements.
  • Experience in community or stakeholder engagement and/or project management as well as written and verbal communications skills including the ability to prepare detailed reports.
They will have a can do attitude and want to work in a friendly team environment.
