Description

  • We are seeking a Qualified educator (Diploma) with a real passion for children aged 35 years. The successful applicant will join us in our long day program, and will work in collaboration with a Bachelor lead educator in the delivery of our highly regarded Waratah program. This program is truly unique in that it operates alongside our funded sessional Kindergarten program. You will have periods of time with smaller age specific groups as well as time with a larger mixed age group. You will be part of a larger professional team in the delivery of a program that focuses on and celebrates children's strengths. This part time position (with Thursdays off) works a set roster. This predictability in your work arrangements enables you to plan your life whether that be a regular night at the gym or a catch up with friends. Whilst we are initially we are seeking someone 4 days hours) per week we are also happy to explore other options for the right person. The successful applicant will be paid under the Professional Child Care Standard 2021. This is a collective agreement which sits well above the Children's Services award in conditions and rates of pay. Our Centre also pays 10% above. Depending on your experience your rate would be a minimum of $39.166 and up to $40.42 per hour if you have multiple years of experience.
