Job description - Settlements Officer - FX
This fast-growing start-up is looking to expand their Settlements team with detail-orientated, finance-focused graduates. This role will mainly include handling the settlement process for all trades. You will also be generating daily payments working with a range of currencies. It's an excellent first step for a grad in FinTech.


Job responsibilities - Settlements Officer - FX

  • In this Settlements Officer role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:_
  • Assisting with onboarding and static data maintenance
  • Provide support on a wide range of posttrade execution and settlement process
  • Generating daily payments of different currencies as daily bank account reconciliation
  • Reconcile books and records with exchange feeds after market close
  • Support clients from Reconcile operations/Front office books daily and send out relevant reporting
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure accurate trade capture

Job requirements - Settlements Officer - FX

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance (or similar)
  • FX experience is highly desirable but not essential
  • Experience with cash handling/banking is a bonus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with EXCEL (e.g. PIVOT tables and VLOOKUP)
  • A strong analytical mindset
  • Must be extremely organised and have an eye for detail
  • Ability to adhere to all relevant compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A getup and go attitude

  • Police check required
  • Must be fully vaccinated
