Excellent written and verbal communication skills and extensive knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standards and State-Based School preparation are essential.

Due to the nature of the role, flexibility of working varied hours is advantageous, as well as knowledge of the local community context.

Essential Criteria

• Childcare relevant qualifications
• Previous experience as a Director working in a large Centre
• Strong understanding of rostering and managing the movement of staff
• Excellent administrative knowledge related to a Child Care context
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Indepth understanding of various funding arrangements and associated administrative activities
• Willingness to take leadership of our Community Engagement Program, which requires planning activities within and outside of Centre operating hours
• Willingness to engage in the Professional Learning Framework, ensuring the management of time for participation in professional development
• Exceptional time management skills and ability to work in a highpressure environment
• Current First Aid Certificate, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma
• Knowledge of EYLF, NQS and WH&S Policies
• Previous experience with Assessment and Rating
• Child Protection Qualifications and WWCC
