They are highly ambitious and thrive in a high-performance culture, while having team wellbeing at the forefront of their minds.

As our Sustainability Analyst, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Lead the continual improvement of the company's sustainability data management systems and processes to collect, maintain, analyse and report on non-financial performance.

  • Provide sustainability guidance and support for the design, construction and operation of nominated assets to drive the achievement of project sustainability outcomes.
  • Support external benchmarking submissions to relevant indices such as DJSI, GRESB and CDP through robust data delivery.
  • Contribute to the company's public sustainability reporting and compliance reporting requirements including the Corporate Report, ESG Data Pack, NGERS, TCFD, and ISSB etc.
  • Work closely with the asset and project teams to support the achievement of sustainability targets. And attend and represent Transurban at relevant events as required.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • Demonstrated experience in roles of a similar sustainability data/reporting nature.
  • Sound understanding of sustainability principles and commercial drivers for sustainability.
  • Strong analytics skills and commercial acumen coupled with an ability to see 'bigger picture'.
  • Knowledge of environmental management and resource measurement in both design and operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement sustainability initiatives at asset and/project level to drive performance outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to be proactive in finding solutions to problems/challenges.
  • Tertiary qualifications required
  • Environmental, Engineering or Finance (desirable).
With a career at Transurban, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • A range of flexible working and leave options, including the option to purchase an additional six weeks of leave each year
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave (regardless of gender or carer status), with no waiting period, with Superannuation paid during unpaid leave as well
  • Learning and development opportunities to support your career interests
  • Health and wellbeing support—access to Headspace and our EAP program, wellness facilities, and more
  • Share offers and insurance benefits
  • Social activities, community give-back programs and paid volunteer days

We offer a range of flexible working and leave options, so you can balance your work and life commitments and interests.

Have a conversation with us about how this could work for you.

We embrace diversity with a foundation of safety, wellbeing and inclusion; where everyone belongs.

We treat everyone with fairness, consideration and respect, regardless of gender, gender identity, marital or family status, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, religious beliefs, cultural or socio-economic background, perspective, and experience - whether they work for us or not.

We want to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe to express ideas, questions and concerns.
