Due to continued growth success, we are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our shutdown maintenance team in Western Australia.

Due to continued growth of the Warrikal business and ongoing pipeline of exciting project and maintenance shutdown works, we are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our high performing maintenance team in WA.


Duties will include:


  • Planning and scheduling crew's workloads to meet project requirements and timeframes
  • Ensure all project activities are undertaken in a safe and timely manner in accordance with the project scope of work
  • Liaising with project, client, and management stakeholders
  • Mentoring, coaching and leading site electrical team members
  • Solutions focused problem solving and identifying innovative solutions to get the works done safely and efficiently
  • Identification of opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Installing LV, control, and communication cabling, terminating small lights and power and VSD Servicing
  • Performing statutory testing
  • Supporting the HSE program within your work area, ensuring sufficient resources are available & team are always compliant.
  • Electrical maintenance of fixed plant and infrastructure.
  • Assembling electrical components and devices.
  • Install and maintain electrical apparatus, including pumps, motors, switches, outlets, instruments, and circuit protection devices.
  • Interpreting electrical and mechanical diagrams, drawings, or specifications.
  • Mine site electrical refurbishment.
  • Major assets electrical overhauls.
  • Asset inspection and reporting

ABOUT YOU

  • Electrical Licence
  • Energy Safety (WA)
  • Current LVR (Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel) and CPR (Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitations).
  • Hold a Schedule 26 appointed person, Frontline Management or relevant qualification
  • BHP Inductions highly advantageous
  • Working Rights within Australia.
  • Working with Heights
  • Current High Voltage Operation H.V Switching
