About the role

  • The Service Centre serves as the initial and primary contact for our internal clients, providing immediate solutions to a wide range of issues related to desktop and business systems. The Service Centre operates on a rotating schedule, six days a week.


We're in search of individuals with prior experience in a technology service centre setting, who possess a customer-oriented approach and adept problem-solving skills.

In this role, we provide comprehensive training on our business products and processes to facilitate your success.

  • Swiftly and expertly handle, record, and resolve any issues concerning all RACQ Group technologies at the initial point of contact.
  • Efficiently and proficiently address and resolve all problems related to RACQ Group Systems and User Incidents.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the relevant technical experts.
  • Log requests for user assistance in the Service Centre's incident register and identify potential training requirements.

About you:


  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities, refined through handson experience in a service centre environment, serving as a single point of contact.
  • Embrace a growth mindset and demonstrate exceptional resilience in adapting to changes.
  • Show proven capability to listen, adhere to processes, troubleshoot problems, and make effective decisions that expedite issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with ITIL V3 and prior experience supporting largescale banking and insurance IT systems will be highly favoured.
  • Possess practical knowledge of Unix, Windows 10, Cisco, and Office 365 technologies.
  • Must be flexible and able to operate within a shifting schedule that extends beyond typical office hours and includes weekends.
