Your opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager IT, your role as
IT Security Analyst will warrant systems ownership for SIEM platform, create and maintain documentation relating to Aruma's security initiatives and security incidents to support the IT&T team to reduce number and impact of security related incidents.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the approach and compliance of security administration processes and security access by assessing metrics and data to identify unauthorised activity and prevent breaches occurring.
- Analyse security breaches and other security related incidents to identify root causes and ensure systems changes are identified.
- Generate reports for IT administrators and business managers to evaluate the efficacy of the security policies in place and support continuous improvement.
- Monitor compliance to Aruma's annual security programs, conduct security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis to minimise the risk of security breaches and systems penetration.
- Verify the security of thirdparty vendors and collaborate with them to ensure Aruma's' security requirements are adhered to.
About you
- A tertiary qualification in Cyber Security /Information Security / Hardware Security or similar with at least 3+ years' experience worked in an exclusive role
- Must demonstrate skills in security business analysis and control selection.
- Technical experience with Microsoft Windows products security (Group Policies, Security Centre)
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, VPDSS.
- Awareness of and understanding of the purpose of Firewalls, Antivirus, intrusion detection technologies.
- Selfled and motivated with the ability to manage your own daytoday tasks. Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances
- A natural problem solver, solutions focused
- Full Australian Driver Licence and willingness to undergo National Policy check & NDIS worker screening clearance
