    How will I help?
As a Communications Manager for BT, you will be responsible for delivering internal communications across the organisation.

You will be a part of a team of highly skilled communications professionals, reporting into the Head of Marketing for BT Financial Group.

This role requires an effective communications professional who can deliver quality outcomes, in accordance with our corporate values and desired culture.

Critical to this role is stakeholder management, a demonstrated ability to protect BT's reputation, and the ability to work closely and collaboratively with BT Financial Group leaders, marketing team members, distribution, operations, product leaders, and agency partners.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering internal communications initiatives in conjunction with the CEO Office.
  • Delivering internal communications strategy and initiatives to support the broader BT Financial Group leadership team.
  • Ensuring all communications delivered align to brand voice, corporate strategy and product and client value propositions.
  • Overseeing and delivering client and product communications, as required.
  • Working with Group Corporate Affairs on communications issues and proactive media opportunities.
  • Representing BT Marketing on strategic projects.
  • Reporting on communications performance to management.
  • Managing deliverables within the marketing budget.
  • Implementing projects & initiatives as directed by the Head of Marketing.
  • Minimising and managing risk effectively, in accordance with BT policies and procedures.

What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and skills:

  • Extensive internal communications experience within in a large organisation.
  • Strength in written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, creativity, as well as ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
  • Team player with proven ability to work with others to achieve success.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of BT's strategy, competitive environment, and market.
  • Awareness of and proficiency with communications technologies.
  • Clear and concise communication with team members and senior management.
  • High competence in project and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
